Heller Consult participates in ESA Conference

On November 25-26, 2024, our colleagues Karol and Piotr attended the European Space Agency (ESA) conference entitled “Towards a Space-Powered Economy,” held in Harwell, Oxfordshire, UK. The event focused on the use of space and space technologies to address the many challenges facing our societies, from climate change and urban development to energy transition and environmental protection.
In preparation for the demonstration of the system’s capabilities, Karol and Piotr, took comprehensive measurements of selected sections of roadway and bike paths in the city of Oxford. They took the measurements with smartphones mounted both in the car and on single-track bicycles and electric scooters. During the 2nd day of the event Karol and Piotr, had the opportunity to present the results of their measurements to the conference participants who showed great interest in the use of space technology in road construction, inquiring in detail about the operation of the system and the possibilities of its use.
Our fruitful cooperation with the European Space Agency has lasted for more than 6 years. The opportunity to benefit from the knowledge of space technologies of ESA employees and their business experience allows us to commercialize our ideas and solutions. Thanks to such ESA initiatives as the organization of the BASS conference, we not only have the opportunity to present our solutions on the international arena, but also to establish new contacts and exchange experiences with experts from various industries.
